More of The Mine

...this time at The Wee Red Bar at the Edinburgh School of Art building. It was very hot and there was a good crowd and considering it's Festival time in Edinburgh it was pretty much near to capacity :)

First on were The Stagger Rats who were excellent (any band that does a cover of Alex Harvey's "There's No Lights on the Christmas Tree Mother, They're Burning Big Lou" has to be good!) not only that but when a band member said their stuf was on iTunes the lead singer told us "not to bother buying it, coz let's face it it'll never be number one - so what's the point?" You can get it here ;-) And here they are playing Fuzzy, Fuzzy...

The Remnant Kings were next on the bill and sounded like this...

Headlining the evening were The OK Social Club who were on fine form as usual and played a couple of new songs too :) - and then went off to Whistlebinkies to do it all again!!! Here's Little Broken Bones/She said, You said ....
