Inside

Well a first for me - going to the ballet (or dance performance)! and it was for the world premiere of Inside by Jean Abreu with music by 65daysofstatic

The theme of the performance is about 'imprisonment' and the stark lighting, set and dancers grey attire give an overall bleak feel. 65daysofstatic (who play unseen behind a curtain) have come up with an excellent live soundtrack which is exactly that, ie the music doesn't overpower the performance despite being very loud at points.

Overall I really enjoyed it - so it's highly recommended - catch it in Edinburgh if you can, as I'm not sure when/if there will be other performances.
