Pose Victorious at the Leith Festival 2010

Down to 'Sunny Leith's' Riviera on Sunday to see Pose Victorious for the final nite of the Leith Festival 2010 and it REALLY was sunny! See...

Arrived - too early agen!!! Waited around a bit then got in at the end of the soundcheck and it was....
Raff & Chris from The OK Social Club there to support doing an acoustic set, I'm thinking of applying to be their Official Stalker (only joking guys!) ;-)

Well there were lots of sound problems - for all the bands, all nite! ie they either couldn't hear what they were playing or we just got treated to feedback, that and the previous nites excersions had taken it's toll on the OK boys, Chris managing to snap two strings on two guitars! but as always they played some nice stuf as you can see here...

The next band up were called Stanley Odd who are a six piece band who play sorta funk, R&B, Hip-Hop,Rap type stuf, they were a really good band and the female singer was great, but I've never gotten my head round HipHop/Rap, sorry I just find it intensely irritating...but they looked a bit like this...

So err..moving swiftly on, Pose Victorious hit the stage and most of the sound problems, for the audience at least seemed to die down, and they played a great set - in by now sauna conditions! Anyways here's some of their ditties, starting with 'Glad I Wore My Old Shoes'

...and 'Why Not?'

and 'Glory Day' too! (and not Rainy Day as I put in the title - doh! sorry guys!)
